Restoring the LATCC Air Traffic Control System

National Air Traffic Services (NATS) kindly donated the last PDP11 based ATC system from LATCC (London Area Terminal Control Centre) at West Drayton.

We have had our eye on this system since 2001 when we first saw it in operation at LATCC. It finally came out of use in early 2008 and was brought to the museum. Continued hard work by Ben Trethowan and Peter Vaughan has now restored the system to working order as you can see below.
